Sampdoria have already made profit after selling Joachim Andersen to Lyon and they are set to further improve their profit margin by parting ways Dennis Praet.
According to Il Secolo XIX, as relayed by Sampnews24.com, the Serie A club’s new coach Eusebio Di Francesco left the midfielder out of a practice match on Monday for this reason.
It’s claimed the Belgium international was rested in order to prevent him from picking up any injuries so that it doesn’t block his exit. Leicester City and AC Milan are mentioned as the two clubs chasing the 25-year-old.
Marco Giampaolo left Sampdoria and moved to the San Siro and he’s now keen on signing his former player for Milan. However, to do that, the manager will have to sell Suso and Gianluigi Donnarumma first.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are trying to convince the player to make a switch to Leicester by doubling his salary. A move to England will also see Praet play in one of the ‘most fascinating leagues’ in Europe.
Praet isn’t fully convinced yet, but he will have to give an answer in the ‘coming hours’… that could mean anything from today until weeks from now.
