According to reports in Tunisia, Leicester City have turned their attention to Club Africain’s Bassem Srarfi.
The 19-year-old right-winger, who has apparently been a target for OGC Nice for quite some time now, was the subject of a meeting between Slim Riahi, the Tunisian club’s owner, and Leicester City’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
According to HakaekOnline, a source close to Riahi told the online newspaper the two businessmen, who are close friends, had a chat about Srarfi and a possible deal taking him to the King Power Stadium.
Ligue 1 side Lille are also said to be in the mix, and Slim Riahi is expected ‘to call Bassem Srarfi and his father before travelling to London next week on a business trip’, which you would expect would be the perfect opportunity to negotiate further with Leicester.
The young winger has made 10 appearances for Club Africain this season, scoring three goals and picking up an assist despite never finishing a game.
