Leicester City, Sheffield United and Watford are reportedly showing an interest in signing Olympiacos right-back Omar Elabdellaoui, who will become a free agent at the end of the season.
Greek newspaper FOS reports the Norwegian international is considering his options ahead of the summer and it’s stated the Olympiacos hierarchy know there’s interest from the Premier League.
FOS also claim that there’s a significant chance of the player staying at Olympiacos and extending his contract, but the interest from Leicester City, Watford and Sheffield United is making things difficult for the Greek side.
All three English sides are likely to bolster their squads in the summer and the defender looks to be an option.
The Olympiacos captain has been one of the most consistent performers in Pedro Martins’ team this season, making 38 appearances in all competitions.
He had a spell in the Premier League with Hull City under Marco Silva in 2017, and also spent five years in Manchester City’s academy before he left to join German side Braunschweig in 2013.
