Greek newspaper Sportime report Leicester City will make a move for Olympiacos left-back Kostas Tsimikas, as soon as football returns to some kind of normality after the Covid-19 crisis.
Earlier we covered claims from Greece that Tsimikas is an option for Brendan Rodgers’ side and more recent reports suggested the defender is also on Sheffield United’s agenda.
The Greek newspaper also say the 23 year old would like to continue his career in the Premier League but the final decision will be made by Olympiacos.
The economic part of the deal could change due to the effects of the Coronavirus outbreak, but Sportime report Leicester City’s wallet is ‘heavy’ and they could offer up to €25m for the player.
Tsimikas has made 37 appearances for Erythrolefki this season, providing seven assists. His contract with his club will expire at the end of June 2022.
