Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brentford and Chelsea are all in the picture with Leicester City in the chase for São Paulo’s Lucas Beraldo.

On Monday, UOL reported the Foxes are willing to make a €20m bid after the Brazilian club told them they wouldn’t hold talks for less than that amount. This is backed up by Terra, who then provide additional updates on this case.

Leicester haven’t yet made an official offer and that could give a chance for Wolves, Brentford and Chelsea to try to get ahead of the Championship side in the transfer race to sign the defender.

It’s claimed the Premier League trio have shown interest in the 20-year-old and, like Enzo Maresca’s side, they also haven’t sent an offer to São Paulo so far.

Terra’s title says Leicester are preparing an offer and within the report it’s said the centre-back could receive a proposal of around €20m in the coming weeks.

This should be enough to help the second division club get ahead of the likes of Wolves, Brentford and Chelsea in the race to sign the player.
