Leicester City are interested in signing Bursaspor striker Ali Akman, according to Turkish website Fotospor.
It’s reported Leicester scouts have been following the player’s progress closely, with him impressing for Bursaspor when called upon this season.
The 17 year old forward was promoted to the Turkish club’s first team after Bursaspor’s relegation from the Turkish Super Lig last season, and he’s now a part of their promotion-chasing squad.
Fotospor claim Leicester City are following the player closely and could make an offer for him in the near future. It’s likely Brendan Rodgers will be looking to add to their squad as they look to the Champions League next season.
The Turkish U18 international has come through the ranks at the Bursaspor academy and has scored four goals this season in all competitions.
Akman’s contract will expire at the end of June 2021, and Fotospor report Fenerbahce are also interested in signing the youngster in the summer.
There’s no indication whether Leicester would sign him for their U23 or senior squad.
