According to a claim in the Turkish media, Leicester City are interested in signing AC Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu and Juventus’ Merih Demiral in the January transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have made a great start to the season and are on their way to qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
Aksam report Rodgers will be looking to strengthen his squad in January, with Calhanoglu and Demiral said to be targets.
With regards to Calhanoglu, it’s reported Leicester City’s sporting director Jon Rudkin has opened talks with the Serie A side and the attacker is reportedly keen to continue his career in the Premier League.
Aksam also report the Foxes are keeping tabs on Demiral, and are planning to make an offer for the 21 year old. The defender only joined the Serie A champions in the summer and despite a lack of games he’s seen as one for the future.
It’s claimed the Premier League side are hoping they can sign both players for an amount in the region of €50m.
