According to a claim in the Turkish media, Leicester City have increased their offer to sign Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida

Last week we covered reports from Turkey that the Foxes had offered €12m for the Croatia international.

Sabah have reported on the latest developments with regards to the future of Vida, with the player impressing for his country in the World Cup.

It’s claimed Leicester City have now offered €14m for the 28 year old, but Besiktas are said to be looking for bids in the region of €18m.

The Turkish club are hoping performances in Russia will increase the player’s value, and they stand to make a tidy profit after getting him on a free transfer in January.

Everton are again linked with Vida by Sabah following claims in the past couple of days they’ve also made a bid for the player.

Earlier today we reported Everton could use their midfielder Davy Klaaseen in an exchange for Vida.
