Sdna report Leicester City’s Islam Slimani is a transfer target for Olympiacos ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to the Greek website, Slimani, who’s currently on loan at Fenerbahce, is a target for Olympiacos as they look to add to their squad for next season.
It’s reported Slimani’s name was linked with a move to the Greek side last summer but the 30 year old instead decided to join Fenerbahce.
The Leicester City player’s loan spell with the Turkish club has been a disastrous one, and he’s scored just one league goal all season. The Algeria international is currently training with the Super Lig side’s reserves after being frozen out for the remainder of the campaign.
According to Sdna, even though he looks surplus to requirements at Leicester City, a move to the Greek giants may not be so straightforward.
They claim the Premier League side will not make a decision over Slimani before the Africa Cup of Nations this summer and after the tournament they will look at any offers for the player.
Slimani still has two years left on his Leicester City contract.
