The Trabzon press are excited about Manchester United’s latest scouting mission to the city to watch Trabzonspor’s Abdulkadir Omur and Yusuf Yazici.
Regional news website Haber61 report the Premier League side’s scouts were ‘left fascinated’ with both players’ performances on Monday night when Trabzonspor took on Kayserispor.
Haber61 say Manchester United were impressed with Abdulkadir Omur’s technical ability during his side’s 4-2 victory whilst they were also pleased with the effort Yusuf Yazici put in to help his team.
The Turkish website reports Manchester United will continue to follow both players until the end of the season and they could make offers when the transfer window opens.
Yusuf Yazici was receiving interest from Cardiff City during the last window and the Welsh club’s offer was confirmed by the Trabzon club’s president Ahmet Agaoglu.
Agaoglu this week spoke about interest from Old Trafford: “They have been watching our players for quite a time. Today, Lille and Manchester United scouts were present.
“This is a source of pride for us. We want to continue developing younger players from our academy.”
Both players are under contract with the Super Lig club until June 2022.
