With Fulham being relegated to the Championship, agents will have been at work for some weeks looking for new clubs for their clients.

Not all will move, even those who want to, because there’s not a lot of players at the London club who have impressed enough over the past season, or who have built up a big enough reputation to make others keen.

One player who has got a good reputation, still, is Jean-Michael Seri.

Not so long ago he was the subject of a failed move to Barcelona, and now he finds himself at a club he distrusts (over the transfer fee), having failed in English football, and looking at second division football unless he moves.

France Football wheel out AS Monaco interest again, and explain the French principality club are looking at signing the midfielder, who still has a good reputation in Ligue 1.

They’re not just looking, contacts have already been initiated.

France Football say the Fulham player ‘should be one of the bargains of the next transfer window’.
