Leeds United have been linked with Rodrigo De Paul since prior to the last summer window, and claims of interest from the Whites continue to this day.
Such was the level of reports last year it seemed clear there was something in the Leeds claims. Other clubs were brought into the picture, and then saw themselves slip away, with Marcelo Bielsa’s men almost always in attendance.
Udinese World take a look at the situation, and bring Italian TV claims from SportMediaSet. Once again, it’s clear the Serie A club want to send out the message they won’t accept less than €40m for De Paul, with Leeds mentioned.
Liverpool are pulled in, although there’s nothing strong about the Reds, and now PSG are being brought into the picture. That doesn’t seem based on a lot more than them previously being linked to Eriksen, having the money required, and Mauricio Pochettino sharing Argentine nationality with the Udinese player.
Bielsa also has that advantage, and it would appear that as the more serious competition from Inter slips away, things could be going Leeds United’s way.
Udinese have De Paul on a contract lasting until June 2024, so they’ll try to stick to that €40m figure for as long as possible.
