Leeds United’s pursuit for San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Gaich is highlighted by website Todo Fichajes today.
The report says the Championship side have been ‘pressing’ so they can ‘close’ a deal for the 21-year-old soon.
It’s said that once the club confirm their promotion to the Premier League, then there’s the order from Marcelo Bielsa to confirm the signing.
But since there are many suitors, including Inter Milan, Todo Fichajes says Leeds feel forced to find an agreement as soon as possible.
It’s claimed that Leeds haven’t been thinking a lot about negotiating, which means the Elland Road side would be ready to trigger the striker’s US$15m release clause at the Argentine side.
Earlier this week, we covered a story from Argentina regarding Gaich’s future, where it was claimed that despite the news linking him to Leeds United, San Lorenzo haven’t really heard about the Championship side’s interest so far.
So either Todo Fichajes are overly excited about this chase, or they know something the Argentine media does not.
