Earlier this week, Rodrigo Moreno’s agent admitted the Leeds United forward would be open to joining Sevilla in the summer window.
The 32-year-old has a year left on his deal with the Whites but his future could be at the La Liga side if a report from Vamos Mi Sevilla is to be believed.
Sevilla have appointed Victor Orta as their new sporting director, a month after he left Leeds.
The outlet states the reaction to Orta’s arrival at the Andalusian club has been positive and it has also led to suggestions the former Valencia man could be heading back to Spain.
With regards to the Leeds player, it’s said he has ‘everything agreed’ to join Sevilla in the summer window. The report adds he found an agreement with the Spanish club over personal terms on Friday and will be a Sevilla player from July 1st.
It’s from that date they expect to be able to register new players.
Sevilla’s Papu Gómez is set for a transfer to Saudi Arabia and his departure will help them to take care of Moreno’s wages.
