Not for the first time, Leeds United are being linked with Lazio’s Felipe Caicedo.
There were rumours around last summer, and now it’s been launched again in the player’s native Ecuador.
Imperio reports that, at the ‘request of Bielsa’, the Championship club are going for the 30 year old former Manchester City player.
Marcelo Bielsa is ‘very interested’ in signing the striker, and it’s explained talks could take place in the coming days.
This has already been picked up in Italy and specifically in the media closest to the Rome club.
LaLazioSiamo say the player has offers from China and the UAE and will consider all proposals which arrive because he wants a transfer, looking to have a more important role at his next club.
Caicedo only has a year left on his Lazio contract, so a transfer fee may be within reach for Leeds.
Last season he got 1374 minutes of Serie A football and scored eight goals, that adds to two goals in each of the Coppa Italia and Europa League.
