According to reports in Austria, Strum Graz could be looking to replace midfielder James Jeggo.
The Australia international has yet to extend his contract with the Austrian side, and the player has been linked with a move to Leeds United.
Austrain sports media outlet Laola1 have today reported Strum Graz could look to bring in Admira Wacker midfielder Thomas Ebner in the summer due to the contract situation with Jeggo.
Ebner will be out of contract at the end of the season, and subsequently Strum Graz are hoping to sign him on a free.
If Ebner does arrive during the summer window this is likely to put doubts over the future of Jeggo, and could give Leeds United an opportunity to move in on the player.
We recently covered reports that Leeds United are monitoring the situation with Jeggo, with his club conceding the player could leave Sturm Graz.
Leeds United will now be able to speak to Jeggo with regards to a pre-contract agreement, and there’s a possibility they can land him on a free transfer in the summer.
