Miliyet report Leeds United are not ready to lower the right of redemption clause for their forward Caleb Ekuban.
The Ghanaian striker joined Trabzonspor on a loan deal in the last transfer window and he’s impressed the Turkish club’s manager Unal Karaman in recent games.
There were reports in the Turkish press that Trabzonspor are considering making Ekuban’s move permanent but the Super Lig club are looking to lower the €1m redemption clause.
However, Milliyet report Leeds United officials are aware of Ekuban’s performances and they will not reduce the price for the 24 year old.
Ekuban has become an important player at Trabzonspor in recent weeks and he’s scored three Super Lig goals from the bench this season.
The player is unlikely to feature at Leeds United under Marcelo Bielsa, with reports the attacker is keen to remain in Trazbon.
He struggled in his debut season in England and joining Trabzonspor on a permanent deal could give him a fresh start.
