According to a claim in the Belgian media Club Brugge are interested in Olympiacos midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe ahead of the next transfer window.
The 29 year old has also been linked with a move to Leeds United in the Greek press in recent days.
Voetbalkrant have reported Odjidja-Ofoe is being tracked by Brugge following claims the Belgian midfielder is expected to be offloaded by Olympiacos this summer. The Belgium international had a five year spell with the Jupiler club earlier in his career and could be set for a return.
The Belgian media outlet say Brugge will expect competition from Leeds United as they did a few seasons ago, when both clubs were in the race to sign Anthony Limbombe from NEC. The winger eventually signed for the Belgian club.
In recent days it’s been reported in Greece that Leeds United are looking to sign Odjidja-Ofoe in the next transfer window either on loan or a permanent deal.
This summer Olympiacos will be looking to offload some of their high earners to balance the books and also raise cash to bring in new players. Odjidja-Ofoe is expected to be one of those who leaves the Greek giants despite still having two years remaining on his contract.
Leeds United and Brugge will have table a bid in the region of €2m to sign the midfielder. Given Limbombe has gone to get a place in the most recent Belgium squad, Leeds will be reluctant to miss out to Club Brugge on a player again.
