ADO Den Haag defender Tom Beugelsdijk has told the Dutch media he’s not happy with the current situation at the club following disagreements among the shareholders.
The Dutchman was linked with a move to Leeds United just before the last transfer deadline after impressing Elland Road boss Garry Monk.
Voetbal International have reported on comments Tom Beugelsdijk made to Dutch TV when asked about the recent events at the club. Tom Beugelsdijk said he is trying to just focus on his game, but realises the situation isn’t ideal.
The ADO Den Haag star revealed he isn’t happy what is currently going on at the Dutch club, but can’t do anything about it.
“After the whistle I just think of the game. Of course, the situation is not good and you do get unhappy, but I’m not at the meetings,” said the defender.
During the last window we reported Leeds United were looking to move in on Beugelsdijk before the deadline. Leeds United manager Monk had sent scouts to get the lowdown on the player and was impressed by his physical presence.
ADO Den Hagg’s coach Zeljko Petrovic also confirmed Leeds United’s interest in the defender, but was keen to keep hold of him.
