AS Roma are about to agree a second summer deal with Leeds United, according to claims from Italy.
The Italian media had previously reported the clubs have a deal for Diego Llorente, and now, outlet Roma Giallorossa features an exclusive story about Rasmus Kristensen.
According to their piece, Roma chief Tiago Pinto is ‘about to close’ an agreement with Leeds for the 25-year-old.
It’s said that the Serie A side are about to sign the fullback on loan with an option to buy. In fact, the Whites apparently didn’t have much of a say in that, because there’s a clause in multiple Leeds United contracts saying players can leave on loan in case of relegation.
That means all Roma had to do was to agree the amount of the potential buying clause. They’re said to be currently negotiating for a price worth between €7m and €8m, and that would automatically be triggered in case some conditions are met.
The report claims the white smoke is ‘nearby’, especially because Kristensen has already said yes to José Mourinho and Tiago Pinto.
