Leeds United are back being named in the race for Rubin Kazan winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
A mention of the Whites shows up in a story featured this week by Gazzetta dello Sport, who has a lot of good things to say about the Georgian 21-year-old.
Their main focus is on the interest from Napoli, who want to sign the player next summer and should now be excited following the news that he’d cost €15m.
The problem is that price tag should also draw the interest from other clubs, especially because a few sides have already been in touch for Kvaratskhelia since last year.
Leeds United are one of those who are said to be ‘above all’ in the chase, since they have ‘already moved’ for the youngster. The Elland Road side are said to be in the competition along with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan.
With Kvaratskhelia having such an attractive price and Gazzetta being sure that the investment ‘seems guaranteed’ due to his potential, it wouldn’t be strange to see a big hunt for him this summer.
