As FC Porto continue to work on signing of Alfredo Morelos from Rangers, their difficulty in finding a deal is reported by a few Portuguese outlets today.
Newspapers such as A Bola and O Jogo both say the Glasgow side currently demand €12m for the striker.
A Bola claims this amount has been revealed by Morelos’ agent when speaking to Porto a week ago. They’re confident that the Rangers player can be signed ‘soon’.
Meanwhile, O Jogo claims that the talks should be continued in the coming days, and Morelos’ wish to make the move, which is ‘unmistakable’, could also help with the transfer.
Still, there’s one outlet who believes Porto will need to pay even more for the transfer. That’s Record, who say Rangers actually demand €16m for the move.
They claim the centre-forward position isn’t a priority for the Dragons this summer, partly because they haven’t made sales to help their budget, so there’s not the same confidence as from other newspapers.
