On Thursday, Corriere dello Sport reported Nottingham Forest are one step away from agreeing a deal with AS Roma for Edoardo Bove. It was also stated he’s said yes to the Premier League side.
Later that day, Gianluca Di Marzio reported Eintracht Frankfurt have joined the race. He also said the 22-year-old has changed his stance and would prefer them over Nottingham Forest. The reason for that was Eintracht were offering a loan, and that meant Bove would still be attached to Roma, the club which occupies his heart.
A fresh report from Corriere dello Sport now states the midfielder is yet to make the final decision.
Former Olympiacos general manager Lina Souloukou is now the CEO at Roma. It’s claimed she reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, after his side tabled an €8m + bonuses bid.
This offer has been put on hold after Eintracht Frankfurt entered the picture. They want to sign the player on loan, and despite that being preferable to Bove he still isn’t convinced.
Corriere say Bove ‘hesitates’, which shows he still doesn’t know what to do. They say the Italian could surprise everyone and decide to continue at the club. This is something the Serie A side would like to avoid because he’s not part of Daniele De Rossi’s plans.
