Another day, another round of Felipe Anderson to West Ham updates, and it’s not as positive as some of the past ones, without being disastrous.

The main reason behind it all is Lazio’s decision to stand firm by their €40m+ valuation, which is a fee the Hammers are yet to match, even if they are close.

Gazzetta dello Sport explain the Serie A side are already looking at what they’ll do once they sell Felipe Anderson, even if that hasn’t happened yet despite West Ham’s €32.5m + €5m in bonuses offer.

Over at Il Tempo, the belief is the Hammers will increase their bid to €38m, bonuses and 20% of resale clause included, and the Brazilian’s entourage are said to be pushing for an agreement, having already said yes to personal terms at around €4m per year over the next four years.

Fellow local newspaper Il Messaggero believe it’s only €30m + 20% of resale clause, but concur on the efforts being made by Anderson and his people, as they try to force Lazio to accept the offer.

Corriere dello Sport don’t have anything on the subject on Friday, but Sky Italia, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, also confirm the Serie A club have yet to accept West Ham’s offer.

The deal is far from off, but it’s fair to say it’s being classified as ‘on pause’ for now.
