It’s been a few weeks since Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte started being linked to a return to Juventus once again.
One of the reasons to think the comeback to the Old Lady is possible is the fact that his contract with Spurs expires at the end of the season, and so far, there’s no agreement for a renewal.
So as Radio CRC today interviewed Evelina Christillin, a member of the FIFA Council who’s described as ‘close to the Agnelli family’, there was a brief mention of the Tottenham coach.
“With Agnelli, last night, we talked about a Conte return who has not yet renewed with Tottenham,” she said (via Area Napoli).
Antonio Conte managed Juventus between 2011 and 2014, and his good time at the club is often mentioned as a reason why they should go after him once again.
The coach, however, has been having a good season in charge of Tottenham, keeping Spurs on the 3rd position of the Premier League table after 13 games.
So even if he’s thinking of leaving the club to get back to Juventus at the end of the season, it’s hard to imagine him having his focus on that at the moment.
