With Aston Villa having an excellent season in the Premier League, the job done by Unai Emery and Monchi is now getting big appreciation in Spain.
The Villans are seen as a role model for La Liga clubs, and as Estadio Deportivo today reports, UD Las Palmas sent officials to watch that from close.
It’s written that officials from their scouting, technology and individual development all flew to Birmingham to get to know Aston Villa’s facilities.
There, they held meetings with the club’s staff, including coaches and analysts, as well as Monchi and Emery.
According to Estadio Deportivo, many of the club’s processes have been discussed. From field tactics, to player development, as well as the ‘Monchi method’ to organise the scouting job.
It’s highlighted how UD Las Palmas used their official channels to thank Aston Villa for their hospitality and the treatment received.
The La Liga side are also having a positive season, currently standing 9th in the table, and now hope those lessons can help them take a step forward and fight for a place in European competitions.
