At the end of last month, we carried a report from Sport, who claimed that Paul Pogba is planning to leave Manchester United in 2019 after he failed to make a move away from Old Trafford in the summer.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with the World Cup winner and have reportedly maintained their interest in the midfielder.
On September 5th, Mundo Deportivo interviewed the Catalan club’s vice-president, Jodri Mestre and he refused to discuss if the La Liga winners are planning to sign the 25-year-old in the future.
Pogba said, “My future is currently at Manchester [United]. I still have a contract. I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”
Earlier reports suggested the former Juventus man’s relationship with his manager, Jose Mourinho was strained. Asked about his relationship with the Portuguese tactician, he stressed: “We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right.”
“One thing I can assure you: I will always give 100 percent, no matter who the coach is, I always give everything for United, I cannot say more.”
