Yesterday, we covered a story in France Football claiming that Mousa Dembélé, on the verge of entering the final six months of his Tottenham contract, was ‘seriously thinking’ about a move to China.

However, he isn’t the only one doing some thinking, as Calciomercato claim that Juventus, who recently lost Emre Can to a thyroid problem, are looking at the Belgium international for a January transfer.

Unsure whether they’ll need cover for the German just yet, the Serie A champions are looking at all the possibilities in front of them, including making an offer for Dembélé.

There’s hope that their project could ‘motivate’ the midfielder to sign, as they would be a match made in heaven since they need him and he would be hard pressed to find a better club to join at this moment in time, even if they did lost 2-1 to Manchester United on Wednesday evening.

Currently out injured until the end of December, it seems unlikely that Tottenham would consider any offers for an imminent exit in January, clearly prepared to let him go on a free in June after he finishes the season with them.

We’ll have to wait and see.
