Borussia Dortmund are expected to sell Erling Haaland this summer, continuing their plan of recruiting well and then making big profits on players.
The next star to be the focus after the Norway striker is likely going to be Jude Bellingham, and Bild report both Real Madrid and Liverpool have interest in the midfielder.
Bellingham is the ‘heart’ of the BVB team, explain Bild, with them saying none of his teammates can match his ‘passion paired with huge footballing talent’. That’s made him a favourite for Dortmund fans, and attracted interest from elsewhere.
According to the claims, Real Madrid would like to take him to Spain, but they want to wait until summer 2023 to do so, something that the Bundesliga side would probably prefer.
Then Bild report that Jurgen Klopp has targeted the player for Liverpool. It’s thought the Reds would also stand a better chance in 2023, but the transfer would be costly.
BVB are looking to make ‘well over €100m’ from any sale.
Securing Bellingham would be hugely impressive for the Anfield club, however, they’ll have to come up with a big fee and also beat Real Madrid.
