With Manchester United working to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus in the final weeks of transfer window, for some it’s clear that someone pressed the panic button at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have failed to sign a central midfielder to complete for a place with Fred and Scott McTominay this summer so far, and running out of options, they seem to have gone down in their list of targets.
So as the Italian media talks about Manchester United’s efforts to sign Rabiot, we get to see journalist Fabrizio Biasin making heavy comments about the potential move.
He claims that in case the transfer is confirmed, then it will be proved that Juventus ‘know how to sell’ and that the Red Devils ‘don’t know what they’re doing’.
Today, we already covered reports from Italy claiming Manchester United and the Old Lady are ‘in advanced talks’ for the midfielder, being ‘very close’ to an agreement, with a meeting with the player’s agent scheduled for the coming days.
With the clubs about to get a quick deal, perhaps that only proves that Biasin is right in both of his claims.
