After the breaking news from the Barcelona media, it’s now time for the Brazilian press to confirm that Neymar would be keen on leaving Paris Saint German soon.

Journalist Marcelo Bechler, from Esporte Interativo, has spoken to his sources after Mundo Deportivo’s story came out, and brings some new details on the star’s rebellion at the French side.

According to the update, Neymar is not happy in Paris. He didn’t adapt to the city, the weather, the culture, the language and the food. He also doesn’t like the French league and the violence from the opponents. Also, the player wasn’t welcomed in the club’s dressing room in the way he expected to be.

There’s also the fact that Neymar moved to PSG thinking he would be the French league’s biggest star, and things have been changing with the rise of Kylian Mbappe, who’s been shining for both club and country, and is becoming a national hero.

Regarding the place where Neymar would go, there’s obviously Barcelona as the main option. Bechler claims that he’s been telling Barça players to convince the board to sign him back.

A problem is that Barcelona don’t have the money to make such a purchase, especially with PSG being a ‘golden prison’ which won’t let him go easily.

That’s why Real Madrid are also a possibility. It’s claimed that Neymar doesn’t have a preference, and since the Galacticos have plenty of money after spending the summer window without making major signing, they could even turn out to be stronger than Barcelona in the race.

Bechler has heard that Neymar ‘desperately’ wants to leave Paris Saint Germain, and is ‘crazy’ to do it.

It’s worth recalling that it was Bechler who first strongly reported Neymar’s departure from Barcelona in 2017. He claims that the player will probably deny everything that is being said, but what Mundo Deportivo and he are saying is all true.
