There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Fenerbahce are still showing an interest in Manchester United defender Victor Lindelöf.
The Sweden international was linked with a move to the Istanbul side during the last transfer window and a possible reunion with his former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
Sabah today report on the latest developments regarding the future of Lindelöf after the player was recently linked with a move to AC Milan.
It’s reported Mourinho is working closely with Fener sport director Mario Branco on possible targets and they say the Swede is on the Portuguese’s radar.
According to the Turkish media outlet, Fenerbahce are ‘closely’ monitoring the situation with Lindelöf, and with the central defender in his final year at Old Trafford they will be able to speak to him in the new year with regards to a pre-contract agreement.
There are no reports if they’ll look to sigh him in January or wait until the summer to land the player on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has yet to start a Premier League game this season, mainly due to injury, but was a second half substitute in the recent 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.
