Greek website Sdna report that super-agent Jorge Mendes could move his client Jose Sa from Olympiacos this season, with the likes of West Ham United and Real Betis said to be interested in his services.
It’s stated that Mendes sees Sa as a ‘next Daniel Podence’, who he took to Wolves from Olympiacos in the last transfer window for €19.6m.
West Ham are said to be looking for a goalkeeper to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window and if they maintain their Premier League status, they could make a move for the Portuguese goalkeeper.
Betis have reportedly been following Sa’s situation for a long time, but Sdna claim West Ham could offer much more than the Spanish club for the 27 year old.
Sa initially joined Olympiacos on a loan deal from Porto in the summer of 2018 and the Greek club signed him permanently for €2.5m before the start of the season.
This season Sa has been instrumental for Pedro Martins’ side, impressing with his performances in both the league and Europe.
