Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea have Jamie Gittens ‘on their list’ and are sending scouts to watch the 20-year-old in action for Borussia Dortmund.
That’s according to Bild, with the German newspaper publishing a Friday article covering growing interest in the youngster.
Gittens moved from Manchester City’s youth system to the Bundesliga club in 2020. Earlier in his development he’d also spent time with Chelsea.
The left winger has made nine appearances for Dortmund so far this season. He’s scored four goals and added two assists in the process.
He hasn’t scored in the Bundesliga since the opening game against Eintracht Frankfurt, but he’s gradually been getting more minutes. It’s that increased prominence which would be attracting Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea.
There’s already talk of a mega deal if he returns to English football, although Bild aren’t bold enough to attach a potential figure to that yet.
Jamie Gittens has a contract with Borussia Dortmund lasting until 2028. He’s represented by Elite Project Group, who have the likes of Bakayo Saka and Jadon Sancho on their books.
