AC Milan midfielder Sandro Tonali has missed training on Tuesday, but it’s hoped he’ll be fit enough to face Liverpool on Wednesday.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say that an ‘intestinal problem’ meant the midfielder has missed training today.
That, though, will not see him miss the trip to Anfield tomorrow, with the website insisting his availability for that game is ‘not in doubt’. Such confidence seems a little high given the player clearly isn’t training the day before the match.
The Serie A side are set to mark their return to the Champions League tomorrow when they take on Liverpool at Anfield for the start of their group stage campaign.

Tonali is likely to start having established himself as a key player at the club since his arrival from Brescia in September last year.
His absence would be sorely felt for this clash with Liverpool, then, and Milan fans will be hoping the confidence of his availability is well founded.
Should he start, he’s likely to be in the heart of the midfield once again as the Italian giants look to get off to a winning start on Merseyside.
