Liverpool have been quite active in the transfer market this summer, but they’re not done yet.
Brazilian midfielder Lucas is currently nursing a hamstring injury, but reports continue to link him with a move to Galatasaray.
According to Turkish website Sabah, Galatasaray have agreed a fee of €2.5m with Liverpool for the player.
It is reported Lucas will sign a three-year contract with the Turkish side, which could be worth €2.7m/season, according to another Turkish website Milliyet.
Galatasaray boss Jan Olde Riekerink had already confirmed in a press conference yesterday that the Turkish club are looking to sign Lucas Leiva.
Riekerink said: “Lucas is one of the players we are targeting. We have been in discussions and it is true we want an experienced midfielder.”
Lucas Leiva has spent 9 years at Liverpool, and it seems he could be on his way to Turkey soon.
