A week ago, we covered a report from Portugal which said Sporting were interested in the Atalanta United winger Ezequiel Barco.
The outlet claimed the Lions would face big competition for the 20-year-old, since the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United would be interested in him as well.
Now it’s time for the Italian press to have a say on Barco, this time adding two other clubs who would also be following him. Those are Inter Milan and Roma, according to a report from Calcio Mercato.
The Gunners and Red Devils are once again mentioned, with Calcio Mercato saying Barco is ‘already on their books’.
This is something that should definitely put his price up, although it’s not clear how much Atalanta will demand for his sale. They paid €15m to sign him two years ago, and will want a profit.
Calcio Mercato also adds that it’s more likely the Italian sides would leave the signing for the summer market, so that could perhaps give the competition a bigger chance.
