Last night was certainly special for Jack Grealish.
Following his record move from Aston Villa to Manchester City this summer, the winger had the chance to make his debut in the Champions League, and made it in big style, with a goal and an assist in the 6-3 win over RB Leipzig.
Now the next European challenge is the much awaited match against Paris Saint Germain, and Grealish claims to be looking forward to it.
The 26-year-old was interviewed last night by TNT Sports, and got asked about the chance of playing against Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
“It’s going to be unbelievable,” Grealish told TNT Sports.
“It’ll be something we’ll be looking forward to. I feel we’ve got talented players here also. I think from the results tonight, from the Paris and Brugge game, you can see that anything can happen in this competition. So I’ll be looking forward to it.”
Quizzed especially about Neymar, Grealish claims to be a long time admirer of him, claiming he has been following the Brazilian star since his time in South America.
“He’s obviously an unbelievable, unbelievable player. Someone I used to watch videos of, even when I was a kid and he was playing for Santos, I used to watch videos of him.”
“And someone that’s had a wonderful career, especially for the national team. He’s nearly the top goal scorer now. He’s really an unbelievable player, it’ll be a pleasure to share the pitch with him.”
Manchester City now have games against Southampton, Wycombe Wanderers and Chelsea. Only on the 28th of September that they travel to Paris for the big match against Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
