Guglielmo Vicario’s transfer from Empoli to Tottenham Hotspur continues to be a subject in the Italian media.
As the goalkeeper is currently with the national team for the Euro Qualifiers matches, he now spoke to the local press and had a couple of things to say about his move to Spurs.

Vicario has been called up by Italy a few times now, but as goalkeepers’ paths are always a little harder, he still waits for his chance to make his international debut, especially with someone like Gianluigi Donnarumma in his way.
Tottenham spent €20m to sign the player from Empoli last summer, and immediately had him as their number one goalkeeper in the Premier League.
So far, Vicario has four starts for Spurs, with four goals conceded and two clean sheets.
Tottenham are off to a great start in the Premier League, so it’s no surprise to see him getting so excited about the choice he made.
