With transfer deadline day coming tomorrow, expect a lot more activity as clubs start ‘panicking’ and trying to bring people in at all costs.
Second from bottom in the Premier League and recently getting thumped 4-1 by Fulham in the FA Cup, Hull City have been one of the busier teams on the market, as the club try to please new manager Marco Silva with a few signings.
Recently seeing their star right-winger Robert Snodgrass sign for West Ham for £10m to replace the departing Dimitri Payet, the Tigers need to sign a replacement, and that man appears to be Angers’ young forward Nicolas Pépé.
Targeted by a few clubs, including Marseille, Lyon and even Newcastle in the Championship, the 21-year-old has now allegedly been the subject of a bid from Hull City, according to Le10 Sport.
The French website explain the Ligue 1 side have received an offer from Marco Silva’s new team, and while the amount hasn’t been revealed, Angers are said to be asking for around €10m for the Ivory Coast international.
Expect more on this one to emerge over the next 36 hours or so.
