Hull City have presented a project to manager Pedro Martins as they look to secure their replacement for Shota Arveladze.

The Tigers have been pushing to secure their next manager this week, with several Portuguese managers believed to be on their shortlist.

Reports have explained that Carlos Carvalhal has already turned down an approach and the same was thought of Martins, but it appears that may not be the case.

O Jogo report that the Championship side ‘opens the door to English football’ for the coach and ‘talks between the parties are ongoing’.

They explain that Hull City have ‘presented the project’ to the Portuguese coach, although a formal proposal has not yet been offered to him.

Martins left Olympiacos at the start of the season and had also been tipped as a replacement for Bruno Lage at Wolves.

However, they have since been linked with Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui, which could leave Martins to move to the MKM Stadium.

As yet Hull City haven’t made a firm offer but the interest is there, and talks are seemingly ongoing between them and Martins in an effort to reach an agreement.
