Óscar Estupiñán is leaving Hull City once again, according to reports from South America.
Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra claims that the striker is joining Bahia on a loan deal, with the agreement including an option to buy, although the price for the purchase is not revealed yet.
As the Brazilian media also covers the attempt, they still don’t confirm the deal, but says there are indeed negotiations for the Hull City player.
Globo Esporte writes that Estupiñán recently got in touch with some people to get to know more about Bahia.
The striker is said to be an ‘old desire’ from the Brazilian club, who are looking for reinforcements for this start of the season.
Estupiñán had already been loaned by Hull City this season, as he spent six months at FC Metz.
He had very little playing time in France, though, with only six appearances made, and returned to the Tigers.
Now we shall see if he has enough impact at Bahia to get purchased by the Brazilian club. Otherwise, his contract with Hull City still runs until 2025.
