According to a report in the Turkish media, West Ham United are likely to be priced out of signing Fenerbahce forward Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Hammers have again been linked with the Morocco international in recent weeks as Graham Potter looks to bring in a centre forward during the next transfer window.
Sabah today report on the latest developments regarding West Ham’s pursuit for the 27-year-old after reports yesterday the Premier League side sent scouts to watch him in Fenerbahce’s Europa League clash with Rangers at Ibrox.
The Turkish media outlet say the Istanbul side have placed a €50m price tag on the attacker, which is likely to deter interested clubs, including West Ham. There have been claims the English club were preparing an offer for the player.
With the injury concerns over last summer’s signing Niclas Füllkrug, it’s possible the London side will want to bring in a new centre forward ahead of next season, but they may now have to look elsewhere.
En-Nesyri has made 47 appearances for the Istanbul giants this season, scoring 26 goals. He’s contracted until June 2029.
