Whenever the Italian or Spanish press can crowbar The Beatles into a transfer story, they do, and it happens more often than one would expect.
Estadio Deportivo are covering Sandro Ramirez’s potential Everton exit in the January window, and they don’t think there’s anything potential about it… presenting a move as inevitable.
Sandro is said to have his ‘hours numbered’ ahead of an Everton exit, and it’s the result of his ‘adventure in the city of The Beatles’ going wrong.
The move to Everton is now seen as a ‘false step’ which has sent Sandro’s career back several moves, and a return to Malaga is the increasingly pushed outcome, if only for sentimental reasons.
Estadio Deportivo say Malaga manager Michel is trying to convince Sandro on the move, one he looks fondly on anyway, but money, as always, is going to be the problem. Unless Everton provide a free loan and continue to pay a chunk of the player’s wages, something has to give.
Sandro only moves to Malaga is he takes a big pay cut, that’s almost certain, and Valencia remain in the picture.
