On Monday, Corriere dello Sport reported Lazio have Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil on their target list. It was also stated the Premier League side are willing to let him go out on loan in the winter market.
The Italian club are in the market for a new attacker, to improve their chances of finishing this season in the top four. They’ve identified a few targets, with the 22-year-old one of the ‘hottest names’ at the moment.
That’s according to Quotidiano Sportivo, who claim the Tottenham player is back on their agenda, after Maurizio Sarri requested his signing last summer.
The winger was hoping to cement a place under Ange Postecoglou this season, but that didn’t happen and he’s totalled 217 minutes from 10 games.
It’s said the track leading Gil to Lazio on a loan deal is ‘alive’, and the Biancocelesti would like to include a buying option. The outlet adds Spurs ‘wouldn’t currently veto’ this idea, as it would give them an option to earn a fee from his sale.
Gil is the ‘main target’ for Lazio, along with Anwar El Ghazi, who is now without a club. It seems like they are yet to make the final decision.
