Fulham forward Aboubakar Kamara has reportedly spoken with a Yeni Malatyaspor fan recovering from surgery and revealed he hopes to join the Turkish club before the transfer deadline.
The player has been linked with the Super Lig side in recent weeks, with reports he’s on the verge of leaving Fulham.
Trt Spor explains Yeni Malatyaspor president Adil Gevrek arranged a phone call between the fan and the Fulham player, whilst the former recovered in hospital.
Kamara allegedly said to the young fan: “I saw you and it’s touched my heart. I hope you will get better.”
The player added, when asked if he was going to sign for the Turkish side: “Why not. God willing.”
In recent weeks there have been reports Kamara will leave Fulham in this transfer window, with Yeni Malatyaspor named as a potential destination for the player.
There have also been claims the Premier League side are looking to terminate the attacker’s contract after an altercation with a Fulham staff member last week.
Kamara’s Fulham teammate Neeskens Kebano is another target for the Turkish club.
