Fanatik claim that if Arsenal don’t manage to sell Shkodran Mustafi then there’s a ‘high probability’ the German international will join Galatasaray on loan.
Yesterday, we covered reports from Turkish press that Galatasaray are targeting Mustafi but Arsenal have told the Turkish club they are only looking to sell him for €25m.
Fanatik say Arsenal are trying to offload Mustafi permanently but if nothing arrives to the Premier League club, then they’ll seriously consider loaning him to Galatasaray.
After Arsenal’s recent purchases in this window, Mustafi could leave the Premier League club. There’s been doubt around the German defender for a while and a transfer wouldn’t be surprising.
Galatasaray are reportedly waiting to see how things evolve with Mustafi’s future at Arsenal, but the Turkish club have also been strongly linked with a move for Manchester City central defender Jason Denayer.
The Belgian spent last season on loan with the Istanbul club and is keen to return.
