Club Brugge star Ardon Jashari has been backed to secure a big move to Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain.

That’s according to former Belgium forward Marc Degryse, and he analysed the 22-year-old for Het Laatste Nieuws.

Degryse is of the belief the likes of Manchester City, PSG and several other top clubs will be looking at Jashari in the summer window.

The midfielder starred for Club Brugge in their 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Belgian Cup final on Sunday. Romeo Vermant scored a brace for Club Brugge and Marc Degryse, after highlighting his display, talks about the midfielder.

Jashari arrived at the Jupiler Pro League side from FC Luzern last summer and signed a contract until 2029. He played 49 games in all competitions so far, contributing four goals and six assists.

Marc Degryse now works as an analyst for HLN and is pleased with what he has seen of the defensive midfielder.

He believes the Switzerland international is unlikely to stay at Club Brugge beyond this season. The HLN analyst also suggests the likes of Manchester City or PSG can’t let this opportunity slip up.

“Vermant was the match winner with his two goals, but in the game, Jashari was the best man on the field for me,” he said,

“He played like a six, an eight and a ten at the same time. He can really do everything. For me, he is, together with Hans Vanaken, the best player in the Belgian competition.”

“There’s no other way than that he will soon make the move to a bigger competition. And then I’m not talking about a mid-table team, but about a top club. Then I really think of Manchester City or Paris Saint-Germain.

“What Fabián Ruiz does there, he can do too, but even more explosively. If he doesn’t make a move to a top club this summer, they have all been asleep.”
