The past few weeks has seen reports in the UK suggest that Tottenham will part ways with Ange Postecoglou even if they win the Europa League this season.
There have been links with multiple candidates and the Italian press still seems to be convinced that Simone Inzaghi is an option for the Lilywhites.
InterLive have reported that the Inter Milan manager’s name is ‘getting hotter’, when it comes to the Tottenham managerial role.
They believe that there is a possibility Inzaghi leaves the Nerazzurri at the end of the season, especially if the 49-year-old manages to win the Champions League and Serie A with Inter.
An experience in the Premier League is likely to appeal to the Italian, who has already won the Serie A and the Coppa Italia with Inter during his stint at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Tottenham will be able to provide a ‘top’ salary for Inzaghi, who is likely to accept the destination.
InterLive also state that the ex-Lazio manager will adapt very well to the demands of the Premier League, with Spurs considering a major rebuild in the summer.
