Moise Kean is only 20-years-of-age, so consistency is likely to be an issue for him, especially at a club with such expectations as PSG, and one which has seen repeated changes recently.
On loan in Paris for the season from Everton, the striker has enjoyed success and been the subject of many plaudits. He has five goals in Ligue 1, and a further two in the Champions League, and is thought to be enjoying his time in French football.
Indeed, such is the success that there have even been reports from Italy hinting that Kean could snub a return to Juventus next summer, in favour of extending his stay at PSG. Of course, a lot will depend on Everton and what Carlo Ancelotti’s plans for the player are.
Sunday, however, wasn’t one of his best days. Thomas Tuchel’s side lost 1-0 to Lyon, and Kean was rated one of the worst on the pitch. L’Equipe, rarely generous with their match ratings, gave the Everton man a measly 3/10.
The French newspaper say he ‘hardly existed’ during his time on the pitch, and failed to connect well with Neymar, with the Brazilian also getting the 3/10 treatment.
Le Parisien also gave Kean 3/10.
Neymar injured his ankle towards the end of the match, and is likely facing a spell out, which will see Kean continuing to get opportunities.
